Transact Campus is hiring an Integration Engineer responsible for the deployment, configuration, and technical support of software interfaces connecting our Payments suite to client ERP systems. You will act as a technical expert, working closely with deployment teams and serving as a liaison to engineering and support.
What You'll Do
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain ERP interface software connecting our Payment Suite to diverse client systems, including platforms like Ellucian products, PeopleSoft, and Oracle.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and debugging of payment services products, interfaces, and client system setups.
- Provide technical expertise to resolve client issues by collaborating with other engineering and deployment teams.
- Work directly with ERP and third-party vendors and consultants to support, troubleshoot, and extend our product line.
- Design and implement electronic billing templates in coordination with Deployment and Support teams.
- Assist in creating XSL templates for displaying real-time information to students.
- Function as a subject matter expert for the Transact Payments product suite and interface packages.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on new interfaces or product enhancements/fixes as assigned.
- Assist in creating and updating documentation for the product suite and interface packages for internal and external use.
- Provide technical expertise in pre-deployment and deployment tasks, including scheduling, technical overviews, and project calls, and occasionally support sales calls.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work directly with clients and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision while adhering to timelines.
- Ability to stay organized while working with multiple teams on varied, complex tasks.
- Experience with Oracle Database or Microsoft SQL.
- Experience in web technologies and standards such as web services (REST/SOAP), XML/XSL, HTML, CSS, web portals, and security.
- Ability to successfully train clients and colleagues and make presentations.
- An outgoing professional personality with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of database packages, including functions and triggers.
- Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time.
