Design and drive the core back-end systems behind a next-generation banking platform integrated with blockchain technology. In this role, you'll take ownership of high-impact engineering projects from concept through deployment, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance across critical financial services.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and implement server-side systems using Golang within a cloud-native environment
- Lead initiatives that directly influence product capabilities and user outcomes
- Identify, analyze, and resolve intricate technical issues across distributed systems
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, contributing to design discussions and system improvements
- Take full ownership of project lifecycles, delivering robust and maintainable solutions
What We’re Looking For
- At least five years of professional software engineering experience
- Deep proficiency in Golang and backend development patterns
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and make sound architectural decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of diagnosing and fixing complex system behaviors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in remote settings
- Current residence in the US, UK, Spain, or Portugal
Nice-to-Have Expertise
- Hands-on experience with cryptocurrency or Web3 technologies
- Familiarity with financial infrastructure, payment systems, or accounting logic
- Practical use of large language models, including prompt engineering for models like Claude
- Understanding of accounting frameworks or enterprise financial software
