Halliburton is looking for an Integration Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions that connect internal systems, third-party applications, and cloud platforms, with a specialized focus on SAP integration and modern, cloud-native patterns.
What You'll Do
- Create detailed integration blueprints, integration patterns, and architectural standards.
- Design and implement solutions connecting internal systems, third-party apps, and cloud platforms.
- Leverage IDocs, BAPIs, and OData services to ensure real-time and batch synchronization between SAP and non-SAP environments.
- Create brokers, queues, topics, and subscriptions for Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), configuring authentication, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Transition from traditional SAP integration methods to modern, cloud-native patterns.
- Expertly handle both XML and JSON message formats, including complex schema mapping, transformation, and validation.
- Implement APIs using Microsoft Azure API Management (APIM) with various policies for authentication, logging, and transformation.
- Develop custom integration flows in SAP Cloud Integration (CPI/APIM) using different adapters.
- Create APIM proxy templates to validate OAuth tokens from Entra ID for principal propagation.
- Develop event-driven logic via Azure Functions and host scalable web APIs through App Services.
- Configure Azure Application Gateway and Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to manage traffic and protect against common vulnerabilities.
- Create app registrations and configure API permissions and admin consents.
- Create enterprise applications and configure SSO using SAML.
- Manage Managed Identities and Service Principals within Microsoft Entra for secure, credential-less communication.
- Configure applications to use managed identity to retrieve information from key vaults.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with multiple, diverse technical integration technologies and processing environments.
- Very strong, hands-on system integration experience.
- Integration experience with SAP ECC and S4.
- In-depth technical knowledge of ODATA, REST, and SOAP services.
- Good implementation experience with the OAuth 2.0 Authorization Framework, including SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) flows.
- Familiarity with Entra ID Custom Authentication Extensions to inject custom user attributes into tokens.
- Proficiency in coding and software development: JavaScript, API development and security, C#.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge in Solace Advanced Event Mesh.
