What You'll Do
Work within a small, focused group to deliver tailored Salesforce solutions for clients in retail, consumer goods, and community-focused sectors. Contribute technical insight during feature planning, helping shape ideas with practical, scalable approaches. Translate requirements into functional designs using declarative tools and custom code, ensuring alignment with long-term objectives.
Develop and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flows. Configure automation with Process Builder and Workflow Rules to streamline operations. Write clean, testable code and conduct thorough debugging to uphold system integrity. Document configurations and customisations to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate closely with senior architects and team members across time zones, participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Offer constructive feedback, identify roadblocks, and suggest improvements to development workflows. Support end-users through training and guidance, enabling effective use of Salesforce Service Cloud features.
Requirements
- Proven experience customising and extending Salesforce, particularly in service and support environments
- Strong command of Apex, Lightning Components, and Salesforce configuration best practices
- Ability to assess technical feasibility and propose alternative implementations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration
- Self-driven mindset with the ability to investigate, learn, and solve problems independently
- Organised approach to development, including detailed ticket management and PR documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Track record of building and deploying scalable platforms in production
- Deep familiarity with Salesforce development layers: declarative, programmatic, and administrative
- Proficiency in SOQL, JSON, LWC, JavaScript, REST, and SOAP integrations
- Experience with BitBucket workflows, code reviews, merge requests, and package deployments
