Recover Medical Group is hiring an Intake Specialist to join our mission of making mental health and addiction treatment more effective, accessible, and affordable. In this role, you will be the first and vital point of contact for clients, helping them navigate and access services through our substance use disorder treatment programs.
What You'll Do
- Meet with clients to complete intakes and identify their individual recovery needs.
- Connect clients to appropriate services and resources and help them navigate those resources.
- Develop a relationship with clients and help develop a needs assessment and care plan.
- Help outreach and engage and re-engage referred clients.
- Educate clients about services and connect them to care.
- Collaborate regularly with the treatment team (medical director, nurse practitioners, counselors) to provide comprehensive treatment plans.
What We're Looking For
- California Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (CADC I or higher) or equivalent certification.
- 1+ years of direct experience working in addiction treatment.
- 1+ years of experience in Intake or Engagement-focused roles.
Team & Environment
You will be part of a small team growing quickly and will report directly to the Program Manager for your specific program. Our culture is focused on serving marginalized and underserved communities using a harm reduction approach.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $33.00-$36.00 per hour.

Work Mode
This position is fully remote, but candidates must be located within the state of California.
