The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse is building a pool of potential instructors for the Institute for Professional Studies in Education (IPSE). You will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, develop curriculum, and advise students, contributing to our mission of fostering an inclusive learning environment.
What You'll Do
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online formats.
- Develop instructional design and curriculum relevant to the course of instruction.
- Evaluate students’ work, assess student outcomes, and provide regular and substantive feedback.
- Maintain appropriate records and hold office hours.
- Serve as an initial point of contact for students regarding course content and expectations.
- Advise students and/or provide other service to the department.
- Maintain currency in the content area related to the teaching assignment.
What We're Looking For
- A Master’s Degree in a field appropriate to the needs of the department, or significant progress toward a doctorate degree. In rare circumstances, post-baccalaureate certification or licensure, or a baccalaureate plus experience, can be established as appropriate qualifications.
- Depending on the program, specific certification/licensure or clinical experience may be required.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire and throughout employment.

You will work under the general supervision of the relevant department chair.
