ALDO Group is seeking an Instructor, I&C to join the Training department at the Palisades Nuclear Power Plant. In this role, you will conduct I&C initial and continuing training for I&C Maintenance technicians. You'll work closely with the I&C Maintenance department to identify performance gaps and develop effective training solutions to close them.
What You'll Do
- Develop instructional materials and conduct training for I&C Maintenance technicians.
- Maintain training programs in accordance with nuclear industry, regulatory, and legal requirements.
- Ensure the accredited I&C Maintenance training program and instructional materials are kept current by incorporating plant changes.
- Maintain knowledge of plant operational conditions to support the analysis, design, and development of high-quality training materials.
- Conduct trainee evaluations in various training settings, including classroom, laboratory, and OJT.
- Support station business initiatives, refueling outages, Emergency Planning (EP) duties, and other projects.
- Participate in instructional continuing training.
- Participate in management assessments.
- Ensure training records are complete, accurate, and auditable.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in education, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of I&C maintenance related experience (commercial or military).
- Technical proficiency in the assigned area.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Nice to Have
- SRO license or certification on BWR and/or PWR.
