OneOcean Group Limited is seeking a creative and experienced Instructional Designer to join our team. You will craft impactful and memorable learning experiences that optimize user engagement and efficiency for a global maritime audience. This role is instrumental in refurbishing our legacy learning library into innovative, engaging eLearning, supporting our mission of a safe and sustainable maritime energy transition.
What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify learning gaps and objectives.
- Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to validate assumptions and define learning content.
- Create engaging, interactive online learning materials and structure learning journeys.
- Determine the optimal methods and multimedia combinations for delivering eLearning content.
- Specify activities and instructions to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Utilise and recommend authoring tools and learning technologies to deliver innovative solutions.
- Partner with the Learning Experience (LX) Manager to develop assessment strategies and evaluate training program impact.
- Collaborate with SMEs, stakeholders, and team members to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Self-manage instructional design efforts, including timelines and resources.
- Distribute accurate production requirements to visual designers and liaise with content engineers.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in instructional design and share knowledge with the team.

Team & Environment
You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Visual Designers, Courseware Developers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and the Learning Experience (LX) Manager.
