GEICO seeks an Instructional Designer to design and develop engaging, learner-centric experiences for our Operations call centers supporting Sales, Service, and Claims. You'll create multimedia learning content and collaborate with SMEs to apply modern instructional design practices.

What You'll Do

Create engaging, high-quality learning experiences, including eLearning, instructor-led training, simulations, and microlearning solutions.
Partner with SMEs, business stakeholders, and fellow instructional designers to assess performance gaps and develop learner-centric solutions.
Conduct needs analysis to identify performance gaps and define clear learning objectives.
Write instructional, informational, and technical content for a variety of delivery methods.
Utilize a variety of instructional design tools, software, and programs to develop and deliver content effectively.
Partner with eLearning developers to create storyboards for multimedia content.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging learning technologies, and instructional design best practices.
Assess business problems and apply instructional design principles to craft innovative learning solutions.
Execute project plans and tasks while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Uphold GEICO's Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles.

What We're Looking For

Experience in instructional design, adult learning theory, and eLearning development.
Proficiency in using instructional design software and tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia.
Ability to design and develop complex, multimedia learning content for online, classroom, and blended learning formats.
Experience applying needs analysis and performance improvement strategies to instructional design.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
A passion for continuous learning and applying new trends and technologies in instructional design.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Ability to perform essential functions of the role, which may include seeing, hearing, typing, and speaking.
Ability to communicate effectively in both individual and group settings.
Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information.
