Solventum is hiring an Instructional Designer to create effective learning experiences using modern technologies. You will design and build training content that supports our mission to enable better, smarter, safer healthcare. This role is ideal for a highly motivated self-starter who excels at creating impactful learning materials and staying current with learning technology developments.
What You'll Do
- Advise and consult with SMEs to identify learning needs and training solutions, applying adult instructional theory and best practices.
- Design new instructional modules and courses, and re-develop existing ones.
- Implement modern learning technologies in the course creation process.
- Actively participate in relevant corporate programs, comply with all professional, quality, and ethical standards, and act in accordance with Solventum's values.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- Five (5) years of experience with multiple course authoring modalities, including video, HTML5, Camtasia, and SCOs such as Articulate.
- A minimum of five (5) years designing and developing eLearning.
Nice to Have
- Experience creating learning simulations for software.
- Video and animation experience.
- Professional training in Adult Education, Organisational Learning, Education Technology, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Educational Psychology, or a related field.
- A background in healthcare.
- Skills in big-picture thinking, visual and written storytelling.
- Strong interpersonal skills and judgment to interact effectively with a broad spectrum of people, both individually and in groups.
