SAP Business Technology Platform is looking for an Inspector to provide supervision and guidance to businesses, primarily within the industrial and construction sectors. You will join a team dedicated to ensuring systematic work with health, environment, and safety, involving frequent travel to various workplaces.
What You'll Do
- Conduct supervision to ensure businesses work systematically with health, environment, and safety.
- Handle case processing in connection with supervision.
- Plan, execute, and follow up on supervision cases according to plans, routines, and regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues, cooperating agencies, and supervisory authorities.
- Provide training and guidance both internally and externally.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's level education, preferably within a technical field.
- Relevant experience or a vocational background from the mentioned industries can compensate for a lack of formal education.
- Good oral and written presentation skills in Norwegian, and mastery of English.
- A driver's license for a passenger car (B).
Nice to Have
- Experience from supervision, i.e., control and guidance.
- Experience with case processing.
- Knowledge of the requirements the Working Environment Act places on the working environment.
- Knowledge of wage and working conditions.
- Experience from systematic work with health, environment, and safety.
- Familiarity with the Public Administration Act and the Public Information Act.
- Knowledge of technical safety.
Team & Environment
You'll join Section Bergen–Førde, which has 17 employees. The section belongs to the Department of Supervision West, which has lawyers and inspectors working across several locations.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary according to the state's regulations: kr 620,000 to kr 750,000 as Inspector or kr 650,000 to kr 830,000 as Senior Inspector, depending on qualifications.
