Fortrea is looking for an Inside Sales Manager I to join our Business Development team. In this remote role, you will play a fundamental part in achieving ambitious revenue goals by generating leads and managing client relationships within the sales cycle.
What You'll Do
- Achieve quarterly and annual lead generation goals.
- Handle inbound client calls, qualify leads, and grow client relationships.
- Collaborate with Business Development Directors to identify and transfer potential opportunities.
- Manage annual expense budgets and submit expense reports on time.
- Upsell services and expand client requests when possible.
- Provide weekly sales activity reports and accurate pipeline forecasting.
- Develop a client call cycle to achieve sales objectives.
- Provide intelligence on key competitors.
- Sell business unit capabilities and communicate sales opportunities for other units.
- Establish and manage customer expectations to ensure superior satisfaction.
- Organize and host client visits as required.
- Use SFDC (Salesforce) to manage communication, document territory info, and handle Opportunity Management.
- Maintain frequent email and phone contact to grow business relationships.
- Leverage Marketing, SMEs, and Operations to support client discussions.
- Evaluate quotations to ensure client and company requirements are met.
- Collaborate with sales executives from other business units.
- Leverage Social Selling techniques to reach clients through digital channels.
- Create leads from literature and industry events.
- Establish, nurture, and grow client relationships.
What We're Looking For

Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in life science or business field.
- 1+ years of Commercial or sales experience.
- Moderate industry knowledge.
- Functional scientific or technical expertise in specific areas of drug development.
