About the Role
This position focuses on generating new business through direct client engagement, qualifying prospects, and placing appropriate insurance coverage using a consultative sales approach within a structured support environment.
Responsibilities
- Initiate outbound calls to prospective clients to identify insurance needs
- Conduct initial assessments of client risk profiles and coverage requirements
- Present tailored insurance solutions based on client data and preferences
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities
- Follow up with leads to advance them through the sales pipeline
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to secure policy quotes
- Explain policy terms, coverage limits, and exclusions clearly to clients
- Respond to client inquiries regarding insurance options and pricing
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics
- Stay current on product offerings and regulatory changes in the insurance sector
- Use CRM software to track leads, conversions, and client communications
- Assist in onboarding new clients after policy issuance
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across personal and commercial lines
- Participate in team meetings and performance reviews
- Support marketing initiatives by providing lead feedback and market insights
- Handle client objections with professionalism and data-driven responses
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal insurance regulations
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge across multiple insurance types
- Work within established guidelines to quote and bind policies
- Escalate complex cases to senior team members or specialists when needed
Nice to Have
