Michelin is hiring an IT Operations Analyst (CORE IT Operations Analyst) to support General Motors Brazil at its São José dos Campos plant. In this role, you will ensure all IT assets and systems operate reliably, provide crucial production shift support, and act as a key liaison between central IT support and business partners, reporting directly to the site IT Leader.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and perform work under general direction from site IT leadership, following GMIT policies and procedures.
- Provide production shift support as the focal point for all IT-related requests and coordinate incident resolution.
- Follow incident management processes and contact appropriate IT support personnel to resolve application and network issues.
- Coordinate fact-finding and business impact assessment by contacting business partners.
- Initiate the incident management process, coordinating issue resolution and communicating between central support and business partners.
- Provide troubleshooting to resolve device and network connectivity issues.
- Use corporate IT tools for asset management, patching, software installation, and remote device management.
- Build clients (PCs, laptops, printers, wireless devices) following common procedures.
- Perform hardware refresh, repair (break-fix), and swap network switches.
- Power up/down infrastructure equipment such as Data Center components.
- Perform user and device administration using Active Directory Security Groups.
- Complete assigned minor IT projects and tasks.
- Participate with cross-functional teams as required.
What We're Looking For
- Completed higher education in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or a related field.
- English proficiency from an intermediate level.
- Familiarity with ITIL concepts (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
- Strong ability for troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer orientation and focus on operational efficiency.
- Ability to work independently and manage on-site responsibilities effectively.
- Capability to provide training to clients.
Nice to Have
- Spanish language skills.
- An MBA or postgraduate degree.
- Relevant IT certifications.
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the IT Leader at the São José dos Campos plant, collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure seamless IT operations.
