International SOS Government Medical Services is hiring an Information Specialist to join our team on a project in Israel. In this role, you will provide essential technical support for desktop computers and peripherals, ensuring our team can operate effectively. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical assistance and support for computer systems and software.
- Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone, or from a remote location.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Train users to use new or modified equipment and software programs.
- Read technical manuals, confer with users, and conduct research to solve problems as they arise.
- Refer major hardware or software problems to vendors or technicians for further resolution.
- Complete required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalency and at least one IT-related certification.
- Must meet pre-deployment physical requirements.
- Valid Passport from country of record with at least 18 months before expiration date. Must maintain a current passport during your stay in Israel.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a required security clearance.
- Must be able to relocate to Israel for the duration of the project.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate.
Nice to Have
- 2+ years of experience in IT technical support and customer support.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office365 (M365) applications.
- Experience on a military/government site, working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor.
- Applicants with current security clearances are preferred.
