Allianz is looking for an Information Security Solution Architect/Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of secure technology solutions. In this role, you will drive strategic and tactical security architecture initiatives across the enterprise, ensuring security is embedded throughout the entire solution lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Define and maintain enterprise-wide security architecture principles, reference models, and blueprints.
- Provide secure-by-design architectural guidance to project and product teams across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
- Conduct architecture risk assessments and threat modeling to identify security weaknesses early.
- Assess and recommend security technologies, tools, and platforms to strengthen cyber defense.
- Act as a bridge between security, IT architecture, development, and business units to embed security requirements.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations like DORA, NIS2, ISO 27001, and NIST.
- Contribute to long-term security architecture roadmaps for new technologies like Zero Trust, post-quantum cryptography, and AI-driven systems.
- Create and maintain high-quality documentation of security architecture decisions and designs.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- A higher education degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing secure architectures for enterprise IT and cloud environments.
- Strong ability to apply threat modeling, risk assessments, and secure design principles.
- A proven track record translating business objectives into secure, resilient technical architectures.
- Experience working with enterprise architects, development teams, and business stakeholders to embed security from inception to deployment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex security topics to varied audiences.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking to assess technical risk and recommend practical solutions.
Nice to Have
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CCSP, TOGAF, or SABSA.
- A genuine interest and affinity for Information Technology and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI).
