Safeguard company networks and systems from security threats through implementation and maintenance of security solutions. Monitor infrastructure for threats, respond to incidents, and support the protection of a SaaS platform and client data. Develop and uphold security standards to ensure data integrity and system resilience
Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and respond to security alerts across infrastructure systems
- Detect and analyze attempted and actual intrusion attempts, both successful and unsuccessful
- Take part in the organization's vulnerability assessment initiatives
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot single sign-on, anti-virus, web filtering, and web application firewall technologies
- Respond to security incidents, support troubleshooting efforts, and provide on-call assistance when required
- Suggest innovative solutions that enhance business growth and improve client satisfaction
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, Software Engineering, or a related field, either completed or in progress
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in securing IT systems
- Familiarity with security monitoring and incident response procedures
- Hands-on experience in Windows or Linux operating environments
- Experience using vulnerability assessment tools such as Qualys or comparable platforms
- Background in endpoint security, including anti-virus, HIPS, and system hardening practices
- Understanding of techniques for investigating security incidents
- Proficiency in at least one modern scripting language
- Self-motivated, creative, and independent thinker who actively keeps up with emerging trends and strives for excellence
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced and innovative work environment
