As an Industrial Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting industrial systems at customer sites throughout Alabama. Your work ensures equipment operates efficiently and safely, with a strong emphasis on delivering clear training and responsive support directly to end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site or remotely through phone support
- Install, start up, and commission industrial equipment according to specifications
- Supervise and guide third-party installation teams during customer deployments
- Verify system functionality through testing and performance checks
- Educate customers on proper operation, maintenance, and safety procedures
- Coordinate service appointments with multiple stakeholders across locations
- Prepare accurate and detailed documentation for each service event
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a certificate from a technical or trade program and demonstrate proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office. Strong organizational abilities, clear communication, and a consistent focus on quality and safety are essential. You should be self-motivated, reliable, and capable of managing your schedule independently.
Preferred candidates will have prior experience in industrial maintenance or electrical systems. Familiarity with forklifts or telehandlers—especially in repair or troubleshooting roles—adds strong value to your application.
