Solventum is looking for an Indirect Tax Compliance Preparer EMEA Poland to join our team. In this role, you will support the Indirect Tax Team in preparing, reviewing, and submitting indirect tax returns (VAT/GST) across multiple EMEA jurisdictions, mainly Poland. You will ensure compliance with local and global tax regulations, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to process improvements. What You'll Do

Prepare data reconciliations and draft indirect tax compliance reports for review and approval across the EMEA region.
Submit VAT/GST, SAF-T, EUSL, Intrastat and other tax related filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain thorough documentation to support tax filings and audits.
Monitor and process payments or refunds related to indirect tax positions.
Support the review and approval workflow, coordinating with reviewers and managers as needed.
Assist in monitoring intercompany transactions and clearing processes for compliance.
Provide supporting documentation for indirect tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
Assist in responding to audit requests and resolving issues under supervision.
Identify and escalate potential compliance risks.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of indirect tax compliance processes.
Support the implementation of new regulatory requirements and system updates.

What We're Looking For

Overall, 4-5 years of experience in a Finance or Tax Department.
Minimum 3 years in indirect tax compliance.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field.
Fluent in English.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally on technical matters.

Nice to Have

Experience in a multinational environment, shared service center, or Big 4 firm.
Familiarity with VAT/GST return preparation and submission processes across EMEA, preferably Poland.
Experience with tax software and ERP systems such as SAP, OneSource, or Deloitte ITC tool.
MBA.
Experience in Poland is preferred.
