About the Role
This role is responsible for conducting in-depth research on potential donors to assess capacity and inclination to give, supporting advancement goals through data-driven insights and comprehensive reporting.
Responsibilities
- Identify individuals and organizations with high philanthropic potential
- Analyze public and proprietary data sources to evaluate giving capacity
- Produce detailed profiles on prospective donors for advancement teams
- Collaborate with gift officers to inform fundraising strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date research records
- Use wealth indicators and financial data to assess donor potential
- Monitor news and industry trends relevant to donor interests
- Generate reports summarizing research findings and recommendations
- Support campaign planning with targeted prospect identification
- Apply ethical research standards in all activities
- Utilize databases and research tools to gather relevant information
- Track and qualify new prospects based on established criteria
- Assist in rating and ranking prospects for prioritization
- Provide briefing materials for donor meetings
- Ensure compliance with privacy and data usage policies

Work Arrangement
Onsite position located in Bloomington, Indiana.
Team
Part of the Advancement Services team, collaborating closely with gift officers, campaign leaders, and data management professionals.
