Requirements
- Hold an advanced degree in a relevant discipline such as statistics, international development, public policy, or a related social science.
- Have completed advanced training in quantitative data analysis or evaluation methods.
- Possess at least five years of professional experience in designing, conducting, and managing evaluations or research projects.
- Have served as lead or co-author on multiple recent evaluations, research reports, or similar publications; links should be included in application materials.
- Demonstrate field experience collecting data at the community level in multiple countries where the organization operates.
- Show strong written and verbal communication abilities, including strategic planning for reports and presentations.
- Display cultural sensitivity and proven effectiveness in communicating across diverse cultural contexts, with awareness of gender and power dynamics.
- Be proficient in using MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and statistical analysis software such as SPSS, Stata, Nvivo, R, or equivalent tools.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Sida-funded programs or flexible humanitarian funding mechanisms.
- Field experience in Nigeria, Ethiopia, Myanmar, Venezuela, or Yemen.
- Fluency in Spanish or Arabic.
- Experience using digital data collection platforms such as CommCare, KoBo, or ODK.

- Advanced degree in relevant field such as statistics, international development, public policy, or other social sciences.

- Minimum five years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting evaluations and/or research studies.
- Author or co-author on several recent evaluations, research reports, or other relevant publications (please include links to these in CV and/or cover letter).
- Experience collecting data at community level in multiple IRC countries.
- Excellent communication skills, including superior writing skills and the ability to plan for and prepare strategic communications and presentations.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively across cultures and to navigate gender and power dynamics with sensitivity.
- Strong computer skills: proficiency with MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and statistical software (SPSS, Stata, Nvivo, R, or other software).
Preferred (4)
- Experience with Sida programming and/or flexible funding mechanisms.
