About the Role

The Oregon Department of Energy is hiring an Incentive Program Assistant (Public Service Representative 4) to support the administration and delivery of key consumer incentive programs. This is a limited-duration position offering a hybrid remote work model.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with the implementation and day-to-day operations of public incentive programs.
  • Process applications and manage program data to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.
  • Respond to public inquiries and provide clear information on program eligibility and processes.
  • Support program outreach and education efforts to increase public awareness and participation.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain program integrity and improve customer experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience delivering public-facing services or programs, preferably in a government or utility setting.
  • Strong ability to explain complex program rules and procedures in a clear, accessible manner.
  • Proven skill in managing detailed records and data with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid remote environment.

Work Mode

This is a hybrid remote work position. The role will combine remote work with required in-office days at the agency's Salem location, as determined by business needs.
