Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls and proactively make outbound calls to schedule new customers and resolve scheduling needs, with a minimum expectation of 70 calls per day.
- Quickly respond to and manage inbound customer leads through calls, texts, and other channels, prioritizing live-call speed and fast follow-up to maximize conversion.
- Manage day-to-day tasks and accurately document lead details, call outcomes, and follow-up needs in our CRM tool, Marathon (training provided).
- Leverage your sales skills to understand each customer's needs and confidently communicate Barkbus' value.
- Build rapport with pet parents by personalizing each interaction and understanding their dog’s needs and grooming preferences.
- Take full ownership of closing bookings on the call, ensuring clear next steps and confirmed appointments.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments for our team of professional groomers, including handling rescheduling and special requests with care, while collaborating with operations and dispatch to maximize efficiency and route optimization.
- Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve operations, systems, and overall customer experience.
- Maintain performance targets including a minimum of 7 bookings per day and $1,500 in daily revenue generated.
- Be highly responsive and consistently available during assigned shifts, delivering a reliable customer experience with rapid response times and disciplined follow-up execution.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of proven success in inbound and outbound sales, ideally in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong inbound and outbound experience; ability to cold call, generate leads, build rapport, identify customer needs, and close the deal.
- Ability to consistently manage high call volume per day (minimum of 70 calls a day).
- Consistent track record of hitting and ideally surpassing sales quotas, with a strong focus on daily revenue performance and measurable results.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Clear and concise written communication.
- Strong attention to detail and a friendly, customer-centric attitude.
- Adaptable and responsive to changing schedules and business needs, with a mindset geared toward flexibility and growth.
- Fully remote-ready: reliable internet, a dependable computer setup, and a professional-grade headset for seamless communication.
