Responsibilities
- Manage the assigned ISR Team in Munich – Germering (approx.. 9 persons)
- Lead and develop the inside sales organization to deliver excellent customer service and sales performance
- Drive sales excellence through the development and execution of inside sales strategies across the customer base
- Support and promote solution selling in alignment with company strategy
- Oversee ongoing sales support activities throughout the Order-to-Invoice process
- Ensure the associate training and tools regarding organizational skills, product knowledge, system and other job functions are timely and adequate
- Own the customer interface for backend Quality processes: corrective actions, Field Quality Reports
- Coordinate customer-related credit, financial and commercial topics in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Ensure overall ownership of customer quote to order
- Define, drive and continuously improve team strategy for quotation management
- Supervise correct processing of customer quotations
- Support and participate in annual and complex pricing negotiations
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external escalations
Requirements
- formal education in economics, business, or a related field
- substantial experience in a sales management position within the electronics/semiconductors/EMS/distribution sector
- fluent in both English and German (writing/speaking)
- can-do attitude and an open-minded personality
- enjoy working with international teams in a global environment
- very good Excel skills (e.g. Pivot tables, VLookup/XLookup)
- initial leadership and/or Team-Management experience and see yourself as a team player
- eager to work in a highly dynamic and demanding organisation
- demonstrate flexibility and reliability in your actions and communication
- willing to use and learn IT systems and Samtec’s internal processes
