As an Implementation Engineer/Technician, you will play a key role in deploying advanced drone-powered inventory systems directly at client facilities. Your work will center on configuring, testing, and maintaining automated solutions that transform how warehouses track and manage stock.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on-site visits to install, calibrate, and test drone systems for inventory automation
- Prepare deployment plans and ensure all technical components function correctly before and after launch
- Respond to support tickets, diagnose technical issues, and implement timely fixes
- Collaborate with development teams to relay field insights and support smooth system updates
- Map warehouse layouts, configure drone flight paths, and conduct system validations
- Train client staff on system operation and best practices for ongoing use
- Maintain accurate records of configurations, issues, and resolutions
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, OR an AS degree plus two years of hands-on technical experience in customer-facing roles. Alternatively, four or more years of relevant field experience will be considered.
Essential skills include strong written and verbal communication, proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets, and the ability to document processes clearly. A valid driver’s license is required, as this role involves approximately 60% travel, including occasional weekends. Candidates must also be vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical exemption.

- Familiarity with 3D spatial concepts such as Euler angles and vector mathematics
- Experience assembling or modifying hardware, including drones or carts, using tools like laser cutters or drills
- One or more years using enterprise ticketing platforms such as Jira, Asana, or Notion
- Background working in small, agile teams
