Position Overview In your capacity as a Process Technician, you will execute functions related to manufacturing and system operations, collaborating with engineers and production teams on setup, calibration, system support, preventative maintenance, and failure analysis. You'll document and follow standard operating procedures while performing rework and quality testing for memory and logic chip production. Utilizing advanced programs, you'll collect and evaluate operational data to conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, and processes. Additionally, you'll help determine and develop methods to control or modify manufacturing processes while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental management system guidelines. Role and Responsibilities: What you'll work on: - Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance: Adheres to standard operating procedures to ensure effective equipment, process, and system performance. - Troubleshooting: Performs failure analysis and follows scripts to troubleshoot and predict potential future failures. - Equipment/Process Monitoring: Observes current equipment and process states while proactively seeking improvement opportunities. - Teamwork and Communication: Demonstrates strong collaborative skills and effective organizational communication. Skills and Qualifications: What you'll need: - Associate's degree or technical certification. Experienced Pharmacy Technician, Dental Assistant, medical technologist, or 4 years equivalent technical Military service. - Proficiency with SPC methods and implementation - Competence in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Experience in continuous improvement within dynamic environments - Understanding of TPM concepts - Strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures - Flexibility to work off-hours when necessary - Electro-mechanical aptitude, basic understanding of hand tools, pneumatics, and electrical systems The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60/hour - $60.40/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package and potential participation in company incentive compensation programs. Day Shifts Include: A Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45am – 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays C Shift – Thursday through Saturday (6:45am – 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays Total Rewards at Samsung SAS include base pay complemented by a comprehensive benefits package: - Medical, dental, and vision insurance - Life insurance and 401(k) matching with immediate vesting - Onsite café(s) and workout facilities - Paid maternity and paternity leave - Paid time off (PTO) + 2 personal holidays and 10 regular holidays - Wellness incentives and MORE Eligible full-time employees may receive MBO bonuses based on company, division, and individual performance.
