Corewell Health is hiring an HVAC Tech to maintain a safe and high-quality environment across our facilities. In this role, you will independently perform preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and services on various HVAC systems as part of our building management program, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

Communicate and collaborate with supervisors, customers, and other trades to ensure quality, timely, and cost-effective maintenance.
Perform comprehensive HVAC maintenance, including assembly, installation, and repair of heating, cooling, and piping systems, along with minor plumbing and electrical work.
Measure, cut, and install ductwork, wire, and fittings using hand and power tools.
Document procedures and completed work accurately and promptly.
Ensure proper care and safe use of equipment and supplies, keeping work areas orderly and clean.
Perform HVAC construction work, including layout, demolition, and installation of all system types.
Ensure services comply with legal specifications, electrical codes, and organizational policy.
Plan and coordinate work flow with other trades and act as a resource for HVAC systems.

What We're Looking For

High School Diploma or equivalent.
2 years of relevant HVAC experience with facility equipment and maintenance procedures.
Valid Michigan Driver's License (LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI).
Ability to obtain CRT-Boiler Operator certification for Grand Rapids CHW locations (within 180 days).
Ability to obtain CRT-Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Certification (within 180 days).
