Solventum is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer at our Monrovia, CA location. As a Transition Hire, you will support automated equipment and processes, focusing on driving operational improvements that enhance safety, quality, service, cycle time, and cost. What You'll Do
- Function as a technical resource on manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Develop and implement improvements related to safety, quality, service, cycle time, and cost.
- Develop and implement cross-functional projects, plans, and programs in support of business and strategic plans.
- Proactively communicate project direction and status to appropriate personnel.
- Actively participate in relevant corporate programs and comply with professional and quality standards.
- Utilize Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies to drive operational improvements and excellence.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for an employment visa.
Nice to Have
- CAD experience.
- Experience with Robotics, Laser, Vision Systems, and Automation.
- Experience in a manufacturing engineer role supporting and/or building automated equipment.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Excellent communications skills (oral, written and presentation).
