What You'll Do
As the on-site representative, you will serve as the main point of contact between the contract manufacturer and internal engineering teams. You'll oversee daily production progress, ensuring systems are built on time and meet technical and quality standards.
You'll configure production units with the correct software stack, conduct factory testing, and verify that tablets are remotely provisioned and fully integrated. Your role includes performing quality checks on completed systems, documenting defects, and ensuring corrective actions are completed promptly.
You’ll maintain accurate production logs, track output, and flag any delays or risks that could affect delivery schedules. You’ll also coordinate shipments of finished goods and replacement parts, manage returns of faulty components, and monitor inventory levels to prevent production interruptions.
Acting as a communication hub, you’ll relay engineering updates to the manufacturer, share feedback on manufacturability, and keep internal teams informed about production challenges or recurring issues.
