Responsibilities
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety protocols in all assigned tasks.
- Regularly communicate technical findings, project activities, and solutions to the project team and management.
- Complete assigned tasks and deliverables on schedule.
- Conduct site assessments and review documentation to evaluate facility conditions and identify energy-saving opportunities.
- Engage in design and submittal reviews for new construction as part of commissioning.
- Use CxAlloy software to record and manage commissioning activities for new construction.
- Create pre-functional checklists and performance test plans within CxAlloy.
- Produce technical reports and document project observations to inform progress and system performance.
- Implement energy conservation measures independently or with project partners as needed.
- Compare pre-functional checklists with actual field conditions when required.
- Diagnose, adjust, and improve building system programming to support energy efficiency.
- Use testing tools to verify, troubleshoot, and enhance building system operations.
- Lead and carry out functional performance testing during construction acceptance.
- Supervise trade partners and subcontractors on-site when necessary.
- Work with project teams to ensure proper documentation, understanding, and archiving of energy measures and system programming.
- Monitor energy performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with project staff to meet and sustain performance goals.
- Ensure project issues are identified, communicated, tracked, assigned, and resolved appropriately.
- Support issue resolution by recommending practical solutions.
- Proactively escalate obstacles to project success to management when needed.
- Follow established processes and standard operating procedures for technical service delivery.
- Demonstrate alignment with organizational core values in daily work.
- Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors.
