Responsibilities
- Maintains an organized system of physical and digital records, including entering and maintaining data and/or documents in company databases, trackers, and/or repositories
- Support and manage document repository and workflows in Ironclad
- Draft standard templates for regularly utilized contracts and agreements
- Prepares, reviews, and finalizes NDAs, SOWs, and other routine agreements.
- Triage and provide first-round edits to incoming legal document requests from Sales business partners
- Ensures contracts are in compliance with applicable playbooks and requirements
- Assures all necessary clauses and details are included in contracts
- Coordinates with legal and compliance departments when necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree (or equivalent in experience)
- Understanding of US-based legal requirements and contracts
- 4 years of experience with legal document review and management with an in-house legal department or at a law firm
- Strong understanding of or ability to quickly become proficient in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and occupational, safety and environmental regulations and laws concerning the technology industry
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret legal documents, including but not limited to order forms, statements of work, non-disclosure agreements, and data privacy agreements
- Basic understanding of purchasing and supply chain procedures
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, required
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage multiple deadlines
Nice to Have
- Paralegal certificate
- Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish proficiently
- Experience with Ironclad and Salesforce
