Remote (Global) Full-time

OXIO Corporation is hiring a Human Resource Director

About the Role

OXIO Corporation is hiring a Human Resource Director to own and execute people operations for our global, remote-first workforce. This role balances hands-on day-to-day execution with emerging strategic contribution, ensuring smooth HR operations while developing scalable people practices as we grow.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary HR leader for the organization’s global workforce, owning end-to-end HR operations.
  • Own and execute day-to-day HR delivery for the global workforce, including employee relations, performance management support, policy application, manager coaching, and HR systems administration.
  • Partner with managers across all regions to provide practical, compliant, and business-aligned people guidance in a remote-first environment.
  • Coordinate and oversee global people operations across Canada, France, and Mexico, leveraging local advisors, PEOs, or Employer of Record partners for jurisdiction-specific compliance and administration.
  • Translate People strategy into scalable execution, leading or contributing to cross-functional people initiatives that improve consistency, manager effectiveness, and organizational performance as the company grows.

What We're Looking For

  • 8–12+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in US employment practices (multi-state environment required).
  • Experience acting as a standalone or lead HR owner, comfortable operating independently with full accountability for HR outcomes.
  • Strong experience with HR systems and tools (HRIS, payroll, benefits platforms, performance management tools), and the ability to manage execution end-to-end.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and operate practical, right-sized HR infrastructure for a startup or growth-stage organization, prioritizing usability and impact over enterprise-scale complexity.
  • Excellent soft skills, including sound judgment, executive presence, pragmatism, and the ability to build trust with leaders and employees in a distributed organization.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to supporting international or multi-country workforces, with the ability to partner effectively with local compliance resources and external advisors.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Competitive salary and stock option incentive program.
  • Company paid healthcare.
  • Flexible work arrangements.
  • International organization that enables you to work across boundaries, travel to different locations.
  • A diverse and inclusive team.

Work Mode

This is a global position within a remote-first organization.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds to apply regardless of race, ethnicity, age, disability status or other defining characteristics.
