Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is hiring an HSSEQ Lead Americas within Work Dynamics. This leadership role has accountability for developing and delivering integrated health, safety, environmental (HSE) and quality, risk, compliance (QRC) strategies across the Americas region. You will ensure compliance with JLL, client, and statutory requirements while driving operational excellence through best-in-class risk management and quality assurance programs.
What You'll Do
- Work with Global HSSEQ Leadership to integrate HSE and QRC management systems across the region.
- Drive technology and innovation-enabled efficiencies across HSSE and QRC functions.
- Establish effective relationships with Executive Leadership, operational teams, clients, and contractors.
- Monitor and report KPIs across business areas using analytical tools for continuous improvement.
- Participate in client transition projects ensuring quality and risk management implementation.
- Provide subject matter expertise for regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSE risk management strategies across the Americas, focusing on Workplace Management and Property Management.
- Ensure application of the JLL HSSE Management System and Standards throughout the region.
- Lead the One Team S.A.F.E.R. Together culture change program and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Provide guidance to Account and Business Unit HSSE Managers on risk management and control reporting.
- Analyze regional HSSE performance and provide regular reports to the Americas Board and leadership teams.
- Investigate accidents, collate reports, and implement prevention recommendations.
- Support procurement in accrediting contractors for HSSE compliance.
- Oversee and assure continual compliance to quality and risk standards for product and service delivery.
- Implement and optimize JLL Quality Management Systems (QMS) across all industries and clients.
- Develop and manage internal operational audit programs for effective assessment of operations and subcontractors.
- Create quality, compliance, and audit reports and dashboards for senior executives.
- Support new business development with QRC expertise for RFPs and client transitions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Safety, or a related field.
- NEBOSH Diploma Level 6 qualification or equivalent.
- Certified Quality Auditor (internal or lead).
- Minimum 10 years in Quality and HSSE Leadership.
- Demonstrated experience leading geographically dispersed teams and implementing best practices across multi-country operations.
- Experience with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certified quality management systems implementation.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required.
Nice to Have
- CMIOSH (Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) or national equivalent.
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, Quality/Environmental/Security qualifications.
- Real estate services or regulated facilities experience.
- Additional language capabilities for the Americas region.
- Master's degree or equivalent experience.
Team & Environment
You will report to the Global Head of HSSEQ with matrix reporting to the Americas Workplace Management Lead and Chief Operation Officer Americas Work Dynamics.
