Worley is looking for a HSE Specialist I to join our team and deliver critical projects for our clients. In this role, you will oversee contractor HSE compliance on a mega project, ensuring all work meets our high standards and local regulations while developing your own skills and experience.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the HSE compliance of Contractors in a mega project.
- Drive Contractor HSE management system.
- Understand HSE statutory requirements specific to India.
- Convene meetings with internal stakeholders to set the HSE expectations.
- Conduct Monthly HSE auditing to review the Contractor HSE compliance.
- Investigate incidents reported to capture the learnings.
- Prepare and review the risk assessment process.
- Conduct safety campaigns to create awareness among the work force.
- Review the effectiveness of Emergency mock drills by conducting periodic mock drills.
- Liaise with Customer & Contractor to align with company HSE expectations.
- Deliver architectural engineering services that meet Worley, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
- Perform architectural engineering services: identify and report changes to project scope; assist with the preparation of proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules; provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities; contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions; assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in architectural engineering.
- Communicate effectively with the architectural engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer.
- Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
What We're Looking For
- B.E./ B.Tech / B.Sc. (Physics / Chemistry / Maths) / Diploma in engineering from recognized Institute and Diploma in Industrial Safety from recognized university.
- More than 10 years of experience for BE/ B. Tech and 13 years for BSc./ Diploma Engineers, in managing HSE activities in construction industries.
