HIAB USA is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to serve as the guardian of our most valuable asset: our people. In this key role, you will partner with Value Stream Managers to provide expert knowledge and cultivate a positive safety culture. Your work will ensure every team member thrives in a safe, ergonomic, and compliant environment, directly contributing to our operational success.
What You'll Do
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive systems for hazard identification, risk assessment, and accident investigation.
- Coordinate and support the closure of health and safety root causes and risk assessments.
- Manage all incident and accident cases, including work-related disabilities and stress reporting.
- Ensure all statutory inspections, audits, and monthly KPI reporting are completed and communicated in a timely manner.
- Analyze workstations to minimize health and safety impact and collaborate with HR and operations on employee physical limitation cases.
- Deploy all processes and procedures required by global corporate standards and local legal/certification requirements.
- Organize employee training to meet legal and corporate requirements.
- Develop a Safety First Culture through targeted communications and initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and deployment of sustainability strategy.
- Liaise with legal and insurance bodies and keep senior management updated.
- Lead on-site EH&S improvement, awareness, and engagement programmes.
What We're Looking For
- Qualification as RSPP.
- A degree in Engineering or a relevant degree in HSE.
- 3-5 years of experience in an HSE role within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
- A demonstrated Safety First attitude and mindset.
- English proficiency at a minimum intermediate level (B1).
- Italian mother tongue.
