About the Role

Ashby is seeking an HRBP - Events & Employee Experience to architect a high-quality and engaging employee journey. In this role, you will lead our efforts to create a consistent, welcoming experience across the entire employee lifecycle for our global team.

What You'll Do

  • Lead internal events and offsites: own strategy and execution of company-wide offsites, team gatherings, and regional meetups.
  • Build virtual and remote engagement programs for a distributed team.
  • Elevate the onboarding experience by creating welcoming, consistent, and high-quality programming.
  • Own employee experience touchpoints like milestone celebrations, swag, and internal communications.
  • Drive cross-functional program leadership, collaborating with Marketing, IT, Finance, and functional leaders.
  • Build scalable systems and infrastructure for events, swag, engagement programs, and budget tracking.
  • Bring People Ops expertise, stepping into areas like internal communications, learning and development, policy, benefits, or compensation.

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
  • Deep experience leading employee experience and internal events programs in a remote or hybrid environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience scaling programs for a distributed and asynchronous global workforce.
  • Experience building and scaling systems and vendor relationships for engagement programs and events.
  • Proven track record managing multiple complex initiatives at once.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Comfortable building rapport and working closely with leaders at all levels, including having direct or difficult conversations.

Nice to Have

  • Advanced degree in HR, Business, Communications, or Organizational Development.
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP).
  • Experience leading change management initiatives in a scaling organization.
  • Track record of building or scaling People Ops processes in a remote-first or asynchronous environment.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams.

Team & Environment

You will be a key member of the People Ops team at Ashby, reporting to the VP People & Talent. The Ashby team has 220+ people globally.

This role is open to candidates globally, supporting Ashby's distributed workforce.
