Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Southern is looking for an HR Support Hub Coordinator to join our HR Service and Improvement Directorate. In this role, you will be the central point of contact for our askHR service, coordinating administrative support and providing seamless, consistent advice to ensure our HR and recruitment services run smoothly across the Southern region.
What You'll Do
- Provide quality and timely first-line support for HR and recruitment services.
- Produce employment contracts and variations to a high standard, ensuring on-boarding processes are completed in full.
- Provide initial HR-related advice to our customers, escalating complex matters to the relevant HR and recruitment teams.
- Ensure we meet and continually improve our compliance standards and processes.
- Organize and host bi-monthly ‘Welcome’ orientation sessions for new staff.
What We're Looking For
- A keen interest in the HR and recruitment space.
- Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to successfully prioritise tasks and remain professional when working to high volumes and conflicting demands.
- A working knowledge of the general principles of employment relations, employment legislation, and privacy requirements.
- High levels of emotional and cultural intelligence.
- Strong levels of initiative.
- Strong relationship-building skills, able to foster a collaborative and vibrant team environment.
Team & Environment
You will be part of the HR Support Hub Service team within the HR Service and Improvement Directorate, working collaboratively to provide essential support to the wider organization.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary between $73,476 and $76,551, depending on experience.

Work Mode
This is an onsite position based at either Dunedin Hospital or Invercargill Hospital.
