ASE Global is looking for an HR Specialist to join our global HR function based in Brazil. Reporting to the Director of HR in the UK, you will play a key role in managing employee relations and supporting HR initiatives across a portfolio of over 25 companies worldwide. We are a team that invests in our people and creates an environment built on collaboration and continuous growth.
What You'll Do
- Manage first-level employee relations casework, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absences, and retirements.
- Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and share best practices.
- Provide first-line advice on employment matters for employees and managers.
- Liaise with payroll teams and communicate changes to employees effectively and efficiently.
- Carry out new starter inductions.
- Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the organisation's strategic goals.
- Support change management processes.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in the field of HR, either in a generalist or specialist capacity.
- Problem solver with a hands-on attitude.
- Self-starter, able to work both independently as well as an active member of both business and HR teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English to prepare high-quality documents and facilitate group meetings.
- Must be legally authorised to work in Brazil.
Nice to Have
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a similar related field.
Team & Environment
The Global HR team includes a Director of HR (UK), 2 HR professionals (Canada), 1 HR Advisor (Ireland), and an HR Systems Specialist (Canada). You will be part of a larger group organization headquartered in Canada, with HR presence throughout the globe.
Work Mode
This is a remote position for candidates located in Brazil.
