Testlio is hiring an HR Operations Generalist to join our People team and serve as the backbone of HR operations for our growing employee and contractor population across EMEA and APAC. This role owns systems, processes, and compliance while ensuring a smooth, human-centered employee experience throughout the lifecycle. You will report to the Director, People Operations.
What You'll Do
- Audit existing HR processes like onboarding and offboarding, then rebuild them to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and eliminate unnecessary process friction.
- Manage HR operations across multiple time zones and jurisdictions, ensuring policies and payroll inputs are both compliant and culturally nuanced.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, contracts, and workplace concerns, escalating appropriately.
- Create and maintain an internal wiki as the 'Source of Truth' and write playbooks that enable employees to find answers independently.
- Act as the super-user for our HRIS, responsible for ensuring data integrity and leveraging the tool’s full automation capabilities.
- Ensure that key employee 'moments that matter'—such as first days, promotions, or life events—are handled with precision and care for a remote global team.
What We're Looking For
- 3-4 years of HR Operations, HR Generalist, or People Operations experience at a multi-national company.
- Proficient in HRIS administration (experience with BambooHR is a plus).
- Working knowledge of EU employment law, with specific familiarity supporting employees in Estonia.
- Experience supporting employee relations matters with professionalism, discretion, and empathy.
- Comfortable partnering with payroll providers, EORs, or external vendors across the EU.
- Experienced with project management tools like Jira or Monday.

- Global Fluency: experience with international employment via EORs or global entities and a strong understanding of asynchronous communication nuances.
