WillScot is looking for an HR Business Partner to support client groups of approximately 500-600 employees across North America. In this field-based role, you will leverage your intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skills to understand business objectives and support the entire employee life cycle. Regular travel to client group sites is required.
What You'll Do
- Partner with group leaders to build a high-performing culture aligned with company values.
- Develop and implement creative candidate outreach strategies to promote the WillScot brand.
- Analyze leading indicator human capital metrics and develop action plans to reduce attrition and enhance performance.
- Consult with assigned employees and managers to provide effective employee relations and performance improvement support, including leading investigations.
- Coordinate with managers and Talent Development to drive talent assessment, succession planning, and development.
- Collaborate with managers and Total Rewards to guide effective compensation decisions for hiring, promotions, and incentives.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure an effective onboarding experience for new hires.
- Lead the corporate-wide exit interview process to collect accurate data and proactively manage attrition.
- Expedite problem resolution and case management for employee issues.
- Participate in stretch assignments or projects as development initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a similar field.
- 3 years of HR Business Partner experience in a decentralized work environment.
- Excellent organizational change-management skills operating in matrix or other ambiguous, complex organizational structures.
- Strong initiative to seek compliant, employee/business-friendly solutions within a developing framework.
- Strong MS Office skills and the ability to use technology as an enabler.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to travel, including overnight, to client group sites and company events/meetings.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to influence managers at all levels.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and collaborative nature.
Nice to Have
- Spanish bilingual proficiency.
- Experience in a construction-oriented or industrial work environment.
