Simply Business is looking for an HR Analyst to serve as the vital bridge between human resources and data science. In this role, you will transform raw data into compelling narratives that empower leadership to make informed, strategic decisions about our people.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain automated dashboards using BI tools to provide senior management with refreshing, upfront insights into our people data.
- Translate 'people problems' into 'data questions,' cleaning data from HRIS, payroll, and surveys to create a single source of truth.
- Track and report on key talent metrics like Time-to-Fill and Cost-per-Hire to help us constantly improve our recruitment journey.
- Conduct market benchmarking and internal equity audits to ensure our compensation remains competitive, fair, and supportive.
- Identify bottlenecks in the employee lifecycle and recommend data-backed improvements to remove complexity and streamline processes.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance, keeping our information secure and in line with all local employment laws and GDPR.
What We're Looking For
- Expert in data manipulation, with advanced skills in tools like Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables) or Google Sheets.
- Experienced with HRIS and ATS platforms—you’ve spent significant time navigating systems like Workday, ADP, or BambooHR.
- Proficient in BI tools, specifically Looker or Power BI, to turn complex numbers into simple, relatable visual stories.
- A strong communicator who can explain the 'why' behind the numbers to non-technical stakeholders in plain English.
- Analytical and pioneering, not afraid to challenge the status quo by using data to suggest better ways of working.
Nice to Have
- Qualified and curious, likely holding a degree in a relevant field (like Stats, HR, or Business).
- Some SQL or Python knowledge.
