DaVita is looking for a Hospital Dialysis Registered Nurse to provide specialized inpatient dialysis care for patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions. You will work within a fast-paced, collaborative hospital setting as part of our Joint Commission–accredited inpatient program.
What You'll Do
- Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.
- Collaborate closely with hospital care teams and DaVita clinical staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Monitor patients, adjust treatments, and support patient care with the help of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs).
- Adapt quickly to a dynamic hospital environment, working in a variety of hospital units.
- Rotate between facilities as needed and work regular and on-call shifts, which include weekends and holidays.
- Manage a daily schedule that may change based on patient needs.
What We're Looking For
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Current dialysis experience is required.
- ADN is required.
- Must pass a color vision test (accommodations available).
- Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required by hospitals in this program, which may include a booster when eligible.
Nice to Have
- BSN preferred.
- ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience helpful.
- CNN or CDN certification preferred.
