Compose.ly is looking for a Higher Education Content Writer – STEM Programs to produce interview-driven content for graduate-level STEM programs. You will translate complex concepts in Energy, Aerospace, and Geospatial Intelligence into clear, engaging narratives that highlight faculty expertise, industry relevance, and student outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Conduct interviews with faculty, students, and alumni, and transform insights into compelling, narrative-driven articles.
- Write accurate, engaging content that conveys the value of STEM graduate programs in the context of industry trends.
- Work with the client’s marketing team to align content goals, tone, and accuracy.
- Ensure all content reflects technical and contextual precision.
- Contribute to structured content plans (e.g., “3 Questions With” series), with flexibility to adapt to program needs.
- Apply standard SEO practices for readability and discoverability.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in higher education writing, journalism, or technical storytelling.
- Demonstrated ability to produce interview-based content with academic or technical sources.
- Strong research and fact-checking skills.
- Experience simplifying complex STEM topics for a broader audience.
- Excellent editorial quality and attention to detail.
- Comfort conducting interviews with academic and industry experts.
Nice to Have
