Compose.ly is looking for a Higher Education Content Writer – STEM Programs to produce interview-driven content for graduate-level STEM programs. You will translate complex concepts in Energy, Aerospace, and Geospatial Intelligence into clear, engaging narratives that highlight faculty expertise, industry relevance, and student outcomes.

What You'll Do

Conduct interviews with faculty, students, and alumni, and transform insights into compelling, narrative-driven articles.
Write accurate, engaging content that conveys the value of STEM graduate programs in the context of industry trends.
Work with the client’s marketing team to align content goals, tone, and accuracy.
Ensure all content reflects technical and contextual precision.
Contribute to structured content plans (e.g., “3 Questions With” series), with flexibility to adapt to program needs.
Apply standard SEO practices for readability and discoverability.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of experience in higher education writing, journalism, or technical storytelling.
Demonstrated ability to produce interview-based content with academic or technical sources.
Strong research and fact-checking skills.
Experience simplifying complex STEM topics for a broader audience.
Excellent editorial quality and attention to detail.
Comfort conducting interviews with academic and industry experts.
