Join Henry Schein, Inc. as a Henry Schein Cares Associate and become an integral member of our global corporate citizenship team. You’ll be responsible for planning, leading, and executing sustainability, global philanthropy, and corporate foundation programs while collaborating closely with key internal teams.
What You'll Do
- Donation Administration and Partnership Projects (35%): Support pricing out potential donations and placing donation orders.
- Monitor international donation requests in partnership with Regulatory and Export departments for timely donations and paperwork.
- Back-up grants and sponsorships administrator to review and process grant requests and route through appropriate approvals.
- Research and synthesize information as needed for new projects or initiatives.
- Support key NGO partnerships such as with Special Olympics, Team Smile, ADA Foundation, etc.
- Manage grantee database with up-to-date records of all product and financial donations.
- Support storytelling efforts with grantees by organizing assets and getting appropriate paperwork.
- Assist in drafting acknowledgment letters and internal communications regarding approved grants and donations.
- Administrative and operational Responsibilities (60%): Perform everyday administrative functions including clerical functions such as scheduling, supply ordering, organizing travel, and expense submissions.
- Help coordinate logistics and communication across departments and with external nonprofit partners.
- Help support managing volunteers for HSC-sponsored events.
- Assist with preparations and coordinate plans for on-site and off-site meetings.
- Responsible for planning, pre-meeting preparation, communication of meeting materials, minutes, and post-meeting communication for HSC and corporate foundation Steering Committee meetings.
- Support corporate foundation annual board meeting preparation.
- Coordinate correspondence with key partners to monitor progress and ensure project timelines are maintained.
- Support the preparation of dashboards, KPI reports, and PowerPoint summaries for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain project tasks such as organizing reports, agreements and other files and provides detailed updates to key stakeholders.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
- Event Management (5%): Manage drafting, sending, and RSVPs of invitations for key in-person events.
- Work with event vendors from contracts to event execution.
- Manage onsite event logistics.
What We're Looking For
- Typically 1 to 3 years of related professional experience.
- Good technology skills required, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Outlook), database tools like Salesforce or Blackbaud, and various AI tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Speed writing is a must.
- Financial/budgeting skills helpful.
- Must have good interpersonal skills, able to multi-task and be comfortable with a flexible environment.
- General proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures.
- Basic planning/organizational skills and techniques.
- Basic analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.

Team & Environment
You'll be an integral member of the Henry Schein Cares team. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams such as Corporate Communications, Team Schein Engagement, Compliance, Regulatory, and the wider Corporate Affairs team, as well as internal cross-functional teams.
