Sobi is hiring a Hematology Clinical Account Manager/ Sr. Clinical Account Manager (San Diego)

About the Role

Sobi is looking for a Hematology Clinical Account Manager or Senior Clinical Account Manager to serve as the primary customer contact for sales demand creation in the San Diego territory. You will execute marketing strategy and provide comprehensive clinical knowledge of Sobi's products to achieve sales goals, supporting our mission to develop and deliver innovative therapies for people living with rare diseases.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the primary customer contact for sales demand creation by executing marketing strategy and promoting Sobi products.
  • Provide current, comprehensive clinical knowledge of Sobi’s products and effectively communicate their on-label clinical benefits.
  • Achieve territory sales by executing Plan of Action (POA) marketing strategies, including delivering branded sales messages.
  • Represent Sobi at local meetings and achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and implement a territory business plan to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals.
  • Perform weekly analysis of territory sales data to prioritize physician targeting and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Prepare territory budget plans for customer contacts, local symposia, and other miscellaneous external expenditures.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving issues and communicate proactively to sales and marketing management.
  • Report all adverse events to Sobi’s Drug Safety department per required guidelines.
  • Perform all administrative functions, including reporting call activity and customer information, and submitting expenses.

What We're Looking For

  • Located within the San Diego territory.
  • BA/BS in business or science.
  • Minimum of 5 years with dedicated hospital selling experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years specialty sales experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years biologics sales experience utilizing a specialty pharmacy OR 8 years with dedicated hospital selling experience.
  • Experience with a transition of care/patient journey process from the hospital to the outpatient setting.
  • Demonstrated history of high sales performance.
  • Experience with single source pharmacies, reimbursement programs, managed care, and formulary.
  • Strong work ethic, ability to develop priorities, and manage time appropriately in a large, assigned geography.
  • Travel within the assigned territory, including overnights, which could be as high as 40-50%.
  • Must be based in, or located near the San Diego geographic territory (relocation will not be provided).

Team & Environment

You will report to a Regional Sales Director.

This is a remote position for candidates located in San Diego, United States.
