About the Role
The ideal candidate will handle more complex technical inquiries that cannot be resolved at the first level of support, ensuring timely solutions and clear communication with end users.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues reported by employees
- Escalate complex technical problems to appropriate internal teams
- Maintain accurate records of support tickets and resolutions
- Provide remote and in-person assistance to users experiencing system difficulties
- Install, configure, and update desktop and laptop systems
- Support email and calendar applications across devices
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues on wired and wireless networks
- Assist with user account management in directory services
- Deploy and support mobile devices used by staff
- Guide users through step-by-step solutions over phone or chat
- Respond to service requests within defined service level agreements
- Document technical procedures and common fixes for team reference
- Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up workstations
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment repairs and replacements
- Monitor system alerts and initiate corrective actions
- Support virtual meeting tools and video conferencing systems
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies during support tasks
- Update and maintain inventory of IT assets
- Test patches and updates in preparation for deployment
- Assist with backup and recovery procedures for user data
