Join a remote team as a HealthShare Engineer focused on building and maintaining secure, scalable healthcare software solutions. You'll play a key role in deploying and supporting InterSystems platforms—including Caché, IRIS, and HealthShare—within cloud infrastructures, ensuring high availability and performance across production and development environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation strategies to improve software delivery and operational efficiency.
- Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Ansible to support reliable, rapid deployments.
- Perform system backups, recovery operations, patching, and ADFS integration across environments.
- Oversee certificate lifecycle management, including deployment and renewal in production and non-production systems.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for HealthShare and related middleware applications.
- Install, configure, and upgrade InterSystems software, including base systems, updates, and add-on kits.
- Support configuration of oAuth, SSO, and identity integration frameworks.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, with 3–5 years of IT experience, including at least two years working directly with production systems or software development. Required expertise includes:
- Proficiency with InterSystems Caché, IRIS, or HealthShare platforms.
- Hands-on experience automating infrastructure, testing, or deployments using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, or Python scripting.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms—AWS, GCP, or Azure—and AWS monitoring services like CloudWatch.
- Background in DevOps, Agile, or SAFe methodologies.
- Experience configuring and managing large-scale middleware applications in Unix environments.
- Ability to obtain federal government clearance; must reside within the continental United States.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace.
- Prior work in Veterans Affairs (VA) healthcare IT environments.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate credential.
