This permanent leadership role involves managing a high-performing operational team at the Ashchurch site near Tewkesbury, focused on delivering exceptional maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the British Army. The position emphasizes operational excellence, team development, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support national defence capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and grow large operational teams to meet performance goals in people, safety, quality, delivery, cost, and cash.
- Manage production output for Army vehicle equipment in coordination with internal departments and external partners.
- Provide clear, visible leadership to unify multiple functions into a cohesive operational management team.
- Foster a positive, high-performance culture in line with organizational principles.
- Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective cooperation with customers and partners.
Requirements
- Experience leading large teams in complex operational environments.
- In-depth understanding of Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) business models, processes, and performance delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships in multi-stakeholder settings.
- Proven leadership skills with expertise in financial, commercial, and performance management.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance.
