The Head of Purchasing & Logistics Department will lead the end-to-end supply chain for beauty and lifestyle brands moving from China to the U.S. and into Amazon FBA or 3PL warehouses. This role is based in a remote-friendly, global brand accelerator focused on scaling high-potential brands with strategic ownership and impact.
What You'll Do
- Manage the end-to-end supply chain (sourcing → production → delivery → receiving) for China → U.S. → Amazon FBA / 3PL
- Own sourcing of the supplements and cosmetics in the USA and China
- Build and expand a pool of suppliers and forwarders; run supplier searches and benchmarking when needed
- Manage product development and packaging supplies
- Lead supplier communication: contracts, pricing, MOQ, payment terms, reconciliations, performance control
- Develop and improve supply chain management performance (planning, Amazon stock replenishment, international transport logistics)
- Handle quality issues and claims; negotiate corrective actions and compensation
- Own purchasing & logistics budgets; run landed-cost analyses and report key metrics to stakeholders
- Run warehouse management, choose 3PL vendors
- Build scalable planning tools, databases, and operating routines
- Lead and develop the team (Logistics Manager & Warehouse Manager) with clear KPIs
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain / Procurement / International Trade
- Proven experience working with Chinese and US manufacturers
- Strong negotiation and contract management expertise
- Deep understanding of Incoterms 2020, global logistics, customs, and documentation
- Experience managing end-to-end supply chains for e-commerce or Amazon-focused brands
- Strong analytical mindset (forecasting, budgeting, cost optimization)
- Experience managing production timelines and multiple suppliers simultaneously
- Financial literacy: understanding of COGS structure, margins, and working capital
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling)
- English Upper-Intermediate (B2+) or higher
- Proven leadership experience or readiness to step into a strategic leadership role
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on when needed

- Background in beauty, cosmetics, supplements, or lifestyle categories
- Experience scaling Amazon brands in the U.S. market
- Chinese language proficiency
- Experience building supply processes from scratch
- Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central reporting
- Experience managing DDP tenders and complex freight negotiations
