Responsibilities
- Develop plant strategy in line with overarching business objectives to meet customer expectations and support company profitability.
- Prepare the facility and workforce to comply with internal and external requirements.
- Plan, streamline, and oversee all operational activities to ensure effective execution.
- Meet market and customer demands through consistent operational performance.
- Enhance plant cost efficiency for both fixed and variable expenses.
- Negotiate revised targets with the business unit when significant budget deviations occur, such as sales declines or shifts in product mix.
- Assess and determine actions to meet or exceed financial and operational goals.
- Review and approve electronic change requests, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders, including for operations units where applicable.
- Analyze and establish measures to address financial fluctuations tied to scrap, manufacturing costs, and pricing.
- Coordinate inventory management strategies to reduce stock levels and improve turnover.
- Ensure adherence to legal standards, including labor laws and environmental regulations, as well as internal policies.
- Align interfaces between plant operations and customer needs.
- Establish effective organizational structures and processes in accordance with corporate and divisional guidelines.
- Maintain high-performing production processes aligned with KPIs such as routing accuracy, process performance rate, delivery reliability, inventory valuation, and equipment effectiveness.
- Optimize supply chain operations according to defined performance indicators including delivery performance and inventory metrics.
- Balance immediate customer demands with unexpected operational disruptions to maximize on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Guarantee product manufacturability within approved budgets while meeting quality, volume, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Oversee and manage the execution of ramp-up and ramp-down projects within the plant.
- Ensure production systems and machinery meet performance standards measured by KPIs like routing accuracy, process efficiency, and equipment utilization.
- Maintain component, process, and product quality to satisfy both internal and customer requirements.
- Advance the adoption of quality standards and procedures consistent with corporate quality policy.
- Ensure effective follow-up and implementation of corrective actions from audits.
- Lead and support process improvement initiatives in production and administration in coordination with central CBS teams.
- Uphold standards in environmental protection, workplace safety, and compliance with company values.
- Actively promote continuous advancement in safety, environmental, and health practices in cooperation with central ESH functions.
